Board Café – Electronic Newsletter
Board Café is the electronic newsletter exclusively for members of nonprofit boards of directors. Short enough to read over a cup of coffee, Board Café offers a menu of ideas, information, opinion, news, and resources to help board members give and get the most out of board service. Each issue will bring you a cornucopia of "Little Ideas," as well as one "Big Idea" you can use in your board work.

Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance
A comprehensive database of all Federal programs available to State and local governments (including the District of Columbia); federally-recognized Indian tribal governments; Territories (and possessions) of the United States; domestic public, quasi-public, and private profit and nonprofit organizations and institutions; specialized groups; and individuals.

Center on Budget and Policy Priorities
A nonpartisan research organization and policy institute that conducts research and analysis on a range of government policies and programs, with an emphasis on those effecting low- and moderate-income people.

CLASP - Center for Law and Social Policy
A national, nonprofit organization founded in 1968, conducts research, policy analysis, technical assistance, and advocacy on issues related to economic security for low-income families with children.

Community Action Partnership
A national forum for policy on poverty and to strengthen, promote, represent and serve its network of member agencies to assure that the issues of the poor are effectively heard and addressed. 

Corporation for Enterprise Development
Promotes asset-building and economic opportunity strategies, primarily in low-income and distressed communities, that bring together community practice, public policy, and private markets in new and effective ways.

Community Action Program Legal Services
Provides expert legal assistance nationwide for Community Action Agencies operating under the federal Community Services Block Grant Program (CSBG).

Economic Policy Institute
A nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank that seeks to broaden the public debate about strategies to achieve a prosperous and fair economy.

ManagingMyMoney.com
By providing personal financial planning tips and information, it provides concrete advice on how to manage money so money doesn't manage you.  Created through a collaboration of the Community Action Partnership™ and the National Endowment for Financial Education® (NEFE®), the site can be used both by individuals who want to create a better life for themselves as well as by Community Action Agency case workers.

National Association for State Community Services Programs (NASCSP)
NASCSP keeps its members, the federal government, and other interested parties informed about issues related to CSBG and DOE/WAP.

National Center for Policy Analysis
A nonprofit, nonpartisan public policy research organization, developing and promoting private alternatives to government regulation and control, solving problems by relying on the strength of the competitive, entrepreneurial private sector.

Northwest Area Foundation Indicators by County 
A convenient source of information on states, counties, reservations, and tribes in the Foundation's eight-state region.

US Census Data
A source for population, housing, economic and geographic data.

US Dept of Housing & Urban Development
The HUD User Database containing current information on housing needs, market conditions, and existing programs.
