Advocacy Committee
(meets second Wednesday of the month at 10:00 a.m.)
The ELI Advocacy Committee will provide support, resources, and encouragement for Advocacy work within the Community Action Network. The work of the Advocacy Committee will include identifying policy issues that impact the people served by Community Action as well as training needs around the implementation of advocacy work in Community Action agencies in Minnesota.
Special Events/Fundraising Committee
(meets second Monday of the month at 2:00 p.m.)
The ELI Special Events Committee will support statewide special events. The work of the Special Events Committee will include mobilizing the ELI network to support special events of the Minnesota Community Action network.
The ELI Fundraising Committee will raise funds to support the work of the Minnesota Community Action network. The work of the Fundraising Committee will include sharing tools, materials and ideas and supporting one another’s fundraising efforts.
Leadership Development Committee
(meets second Wednesday of month at 9:00 a.m.)
The ELI Leadership Development Committee will keep the spirit of the Emerging Leaders Institute alive and well in Minnesota. The work of the Leadership Development Committee will include identifying leadership needs and leadership training opportunities in the state.
